Seaspray NA - possible extra day June 6, 7, 8th. near Eugene, Oregon. Eugene is a very nice venue, well run races, and they run the SailGP course for the Live on the Edge multihull regatta, June 7-8, 2025.

GPS Watch or GPS Handheld
Use these devices to help improve your sailing skills. Spend some time researching how these devices, along with destination-sailing on your lake or sea can present a challenge and add interest when you go on the water. Indeed you could sail to the same destination while recording your time and conditions to try to improve your skills and elapsed time.
Under the Stingy Sailor website look at "GPS tips & tricks for sailors" for a good article on this subject. Other websites include salmon.com and Kwindoo Tracking App (charges apply)
Consider setting up a phone text group next sailing season. Use it to advise everyone when you plan to sail. It's fun to sail with a buddy or two or three.
A Seaspray was donated to the Canadian Seaspray Association. It is located at Newell Sailing Club and the plan is to recondition it back to active sailing status and sell it. The goal in the meantime is to use it as a teaching platform to demonstrate removing the waterlogged foam and make a few improvements in the process. At the moment it is missing a lot of essential items that will be replaced as we find them. Most critical is a boom so if anyone in the area has one or a 9'6" x 2" aluminum pipe or irrigation pipe of that dimension let us know. The project will start late April or May and hopefully be completed during the sailing season. I plan to share some pictures of our progress.
