BRAUL BREAKS THROUGH
BRAUL WINS HIS 1ST CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP The big news is that we have a new champion, Richard Braul has captured the title for 2025!! It is his first Canadian Championship after several years of high placings he managed to end Don Snell's quest for 5 straight championships. Richard commented: " I had to work for it, and Hamish got really frustrated watching my poor tactics for defending a lead, which is to just go fast.. ." We had nine SeaSprays sailing in this year's event with great wind conditions that allowed 11 races of the 12 planned to be sailed over the three days. We also had time to relax, visit and enjoy everyone's company. The racing was close with a few positions separated by one point. Standings are in order...
